I’ve signed up to the National Union of Students (NUS) 'Vote for Students' campaign to oppose any major increase in tuition fees, currently capped at £3,225.  The Lib Dems claim to be on the side of students, but their policies on higher education are in disarray with U-turn after U-turn. Not even the NUS is calling for an abolition of tuition fees as it would be totally unrealistic and unaffordable at this time.
